Our Beloved Christine has passed away tonight.

Dear all~

Christine's suffering ended tonight~She passed at about 10:25. Loved ones were all around her today and she was aware. She was amazing these last few days and I know she is blanketing us with her love and comfort.

With love,

Bridget and All

This note is from a dear friend I work with. Love, Bridge~

Oh my dear, dear friend. My heart was breaking reading your email and hearing your heart and your families heart breaking. I have tears and a drippy nose.....I love you and hold you all close and praying for her peaceful journey.

She brought so much joy, and continues to do so, in the lives she touched. I'm so grateful I got to know her in these last few years I've been a part of the family. I wanted to share a note she sent to me that means so much, especially now:

"There is no duty so much underrated as the duty of being happy. By being happy we sow anonymous benefits upon the world!"

Much love and prayers to everyone,

Julie James

My heart and prayers go out to all of Chris's family and friends. I came to know Chris only recently through my friendship with her sister Nina and the Wellness Community.

I have just looked at all the wonderful family photos posted of Chris on this blog and am grateful to have gotten a small glimpse of her as a young girl, young mother and vibrant adult. Thank you for posting these.

Even in the few times I have been with Chris, it was apparent that in spite of the cancer she retained her humor, and remained the strong willed, honest and determined individual she had always been.

You are all very blessed to have the strength and support of a close-knit family. May you find comfort in the good memories of Chris.

Love, Linda Malmberg
